Delia has loved art from an early age.  She won a scholarship from school to Guildfor School of Art where she did a year of General Art vbefore moving to a City and Guilds in Fashion and Design.  having acheived this she promptly got married and life got in the way!  Having a full time job she lost touch with her artwork until she retired and moved to beautiful Mid Wales.  since then she hasn't looked back.

Delia uses a variety of media and subject matter, liking to experiment by adding crumpled paper or salt to give her paintings a 3D look.

Delia has often been commissioned to paint local buildings, peoples homes and peoples pets.  Her painting of "Llanwrtyd from the Bridge" was presented to the Mayor of Cesky Krumlov (twin town to Llanwrtyd).  Her representation of "Statue of Llewelyn" was commissioned as a gift to the mayor of the twin town of Llandovery.
