Welcome to 2012!!  A new year and loads of changes at In the Pink!!

Starting in March we aim to run a calender of workshops and activities with local artists, craftspeople, photographers and musicians to provide tasters and fun for adults of all ages and abilities.  Maybe inspiring some of you to discover a new hobby or talent!

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

Every Monday

Dyffoddol (Youth Council) Meetings 4-6pm  (starting 20th February)- if you're 14-20 and want to get involved and have a say in what goes on in your community then this is for you.  For more information, contact Elodie Lake (via In the Pink)

Every Tuesday

(starting 7th February 2012) 2pm-4pm Knit and Natter - £2.50 per session, including a tea/coffee and cake/biscuit.  Bring your own wool etc. Knitting and crocheting. Open to all abilities plus beginners.  Very informal, social gathering. Beginners can borrow needles.  Share tips, skills, and make new friends. 

Every Friday

(starting 2nd March 2012) 3pm-5pm (but might go on) - Cofee and Jam - FREE. Meet up with friends and treat yourself to a drink, read the local paper or pick up one of the instruments hanging on our walls.  Make music, have a sing song or just join in the atmosphere.  Feel free to bring your own instruments as supplies here are limited.  You are also welcome to do this at any other time whilst the shop is open

 ****COMPETITION "Easter Egg-stravaganza" ****

Decorate an Egg-Card.  Egg Templates available from In The Pink for £1 entry fee.  Lots of chocolatey prizes.  Open to all Ages.  Catagories as follows: 6ys & under; 7-11yrs, 12-15yrs, 16-18yrs, ADULTS (come on mums, dads, grandmas, grandads you know you'll enjoy joining in!)  Entries will be displayed in the shop window, winners will be selected on Good Friday by local artist Anna-Lisa Coleman.

April 2012

Monday 2nd April 6pm - 8pm Preview Evening - Easter Bonanza Exhibition by Julia Harris  - 60 pictures at £60.  Come along, chat to Julia and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine

Tuesday 3rd April - Saurday 14th April: 2 week Easter Bonanza Exhibition.  Julia Harris is offering some of her classic images and original artworks at onyl £60 a pop!!!  Bargain of the year with Julia's work becoming highly sought after across the UK and into Europe and across the World. 

Wednesday 4th April ' Easter Egg-stravaganza Card Making Workshop' with Anna-Lisa Coleman.  During the school holidays this cardshop is open to adults and childrn (NOTE CHILDREN UNDER 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT). £4 per participant - includes entry to the Easter Egg-stravaganza Competition
